Sales Manager – Middle East

About the role

Damen, a global leader in maritime solutions, is expanding its presence in the Middle East. We are looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead sales activities across the region, build strong customer relationships, and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business development plans for assigned Middle East territories.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers, agents, government entities, port operators, contractors and marine companies.
• Identify market opportunities, convert leads into contracts and negotiate quotations, pricing, delivery terms and commercial agreements.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as engineering, legal, finance, services and project management to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor market trends, provide strategic insights to management and represent Damen at industry events, trade fairs and conferences.
• Support customers throughout the sales lifecycle, including after‑sales service and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development or a commercial role within the Middle East.
• Experience in the maritime, offshore, shipbuilding or capital‑goods industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent communication in English; Arabic or Dutch is a plus.
