Sales Manager – Retail & B2B

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead both B2B and B2C sales functions for Al-Futtaim in Dubai, driving profitability and growth in line with the IKEA operating concept.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a market business plan and sales strategy to meet company sales and profit targets.
• Initiate and coordinate action plans to penetrate new markets and support marketing initiatives.
• Manage operating costs, achieve sales budget and gross‑margin goals, and control expenses.
• Ensure accurate sales forecasts to optimise goods flow and stock sell‑through.
• Achieve customer satisfaction targets measured by IKEA Brand Capital and CSI, and resolve sales‑related complaints.
• Collaborate with the Communication & Interior Design team to plan store merchandising and evaluate results.
• Monitor competition in the furnishing industry and contribute to business development.
• Work with the Regional B2B Manager, logistics team, and stakeholders to support B2B growth, product range relevance, and stock management.

Required profile

• Proven ability to direct a sales team and provide leadership toward profitability.
• Experience managing operating costs and achieving sales budgets.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and complaint resolution.
• Capability to develop market‑specific business plans and action plans.
• Collaboration skills with design, marketing, logistics and B2B functions.
