Sales Operation Engineer - HVAC

About the role

The Sales Operation Engineer – HVAC will report to the Sales Director – Indirect HVAC for the Middle East and Africa region. Based in Dubai, you will support channel partners, consultants, distributors and internal sales teams by delivering technical expertise on York Applied products such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs and CCUs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review technical proposals, equipment selections and HVAC system designs based on project specifications.
• Perform heat‑load calculations, equipment sizing and system configuration using industry‑standard tools.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, service and finance to ensure seamless sales execution.
• Create and maintain pricing sheets, cost analyses and commercial documentation.
• Respond to customer technical queries and provide guidance on system options, features and benefits.
• Liaise with vendors to obtain updated product data, technical specifications and pricing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pre‑sales, design or application of HVAC systems.
• Strong technical, estimation, presentation and time‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
