Sales Reservation Agent

About the role

The Sales Reservation Agent will be the first point of contact for guests contacting the JW Marriott Dubai Marina. You will manage reservation requests, changes, and cancellations across phone, fax and email, while delivering the brand’s promise of “Wonderful Hospitality. Always.” The role requires accurate data entry, strong communication, and the ability to apply sales techniques to maximize room revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability and rates, and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies.
• Enter reservation data into the system, including special room types and rates.
• Handle guest inquiries about property facilities, services, and accommodations, and document special requests.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and follow escalation procedures for guest concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information and assist guests with disabilities.
• Adhere to company policies on professional appearance, uniform standards, and overall conduct.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds.
• Professional appearance and clear verbal communication skills.
