About the role

The Sales Support Officer provides essential administrative assistance to the sales team, ensuring smooth operations and high‑quality customer interactions. Working within a banking environment, the role focuses on accurate documentation, data management and coordination of sales activities to boost overall productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the sales team, handling inquiries, preparing quotes and assisting with presentations.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales data in the banking system and ensure up‑to‑date information for analysis.
• Prepare and manage sales documentation such as contracts, proposals and reports.
• Assist in lead generation, tracking and follow‑up using CRM tools.
• Produce regular sales reports, analyse key metrics and support forecasting.
• Interact with customers professionally, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
• Monitor the sales pipeline, update opportunity status and communicate progress to the team.
• Collaborate with marketing, agencies and other departments to ensure seamless coordination.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in sales support or a related function.
• Familiarity with banking systems, MIS or CRM platforms.
• Ability to analyse sales data and derive actionable insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
