Scaffolder – Bridge Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking experienced scaffolders to join our bridge maintenance team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for building and dismantling scaffold systems that provide safe access for inspection, repair and rehabilitation works on bridges and related infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Erect, modify and dismantle scaffolding structures, including towers, platforms, guardrails and access systems.
• Follow approved drawings, method statements and supervisor instructions.
• Ensure scaffolding is stable, properly braced and securely fixed at all times.
• Carry out daily safety checks and report any defects or unsafe conditions.
• Assist with loading, unloading and organizing scaffolding materials.
• Support bridge maintenance activities such as concrete repair, inspection and painting by providing safe access.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of scaffolding experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in bridge or highway projects is preferred.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials.
• UAE experience in infrastructure or bridge projects is an advantage.

Required skills

• Scaffold erection and dismantling.
• Knowledge of safety practices and daily inspection procedures.
• Scaffolding certification (CISRS, OSHA or equivalent) preferred.
• Familiarity with modular and tube‑and‑fitting scaffolding systems.
