School Librarian – Manage Library Resources

About the role

Poja School in Al Nahda, Dubai is seeking a Librarian to oversee the school library, ensuring students and teachers have easy access to a wide range of educational resources. The role supports a vibrant learning environment by maintaining an organized collection and providing assistance with information needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the school library, including acquisition, cataloguing and shelving of books and digital resources.
• Assist students and teachers in locating and using library materials effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, circulation and usage statistics.
• Develop and implement policies for resource handling, borrowing and returns.
• Organise events such as reading sessions, exhibitions and resource‑training workshops.

Required profile

• Preferably 1 + year experience in library management or a similar role.
• Strong organisational and record‑keeping abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage educational resources efficiently.
