About the role
We are seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join our school in Dubai. The role involves delivering engaging science lessons, guiding student development, and contributing to the school’s mission of providing quality education.
Key responsibilities
- Teach allocated science classes and prepare lesson plans.
- Assess, monitor, record, and report on student progress.
- Provide advice and guidance to students on academic matters.
- Promote and safeguard the wellbeing and safety of students.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to support student interests.
- Engage in continuous professional development.
- Contribute to curriculum development.
- Help maintain order and discipline in the classroom and school.
Required profile
- Minimum BS/BA in a science subject.
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, Masters of Education, Professional Certificate/Diploma in Teaching).
- Meet TELS UAE teacher certification requirements and obtain Competent Teacher Status (CTS) within a year of joining.
