About the role

Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi is seeking an inspiring, creative, and forward‑thinking Science Teacher to join its high‑performing secondary team. The role starts in January 2027 on the purpose‑built campus on Al Reem Island and involves teaching students from Early Years through IGCSEs and A‑levels using the English National Curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Inspire and teach Science to students of all ages and abilities, following the English National Curriculum.
• Prepare and deliver engaging, inquiry‑based Science lessons using plentiful classroom resources.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents to maximise student progress.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback in line with high achievement expectations.

Required profile

• Passionate teacher with a positive mindset, committed to continuous improvement.
• Strong experience of the UK national curriculum; international education experience is an advantage.
• Demonstrates flexibility and openness to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced international environment.
• Participates fully in extra‑curricular aspects of school life.

Required skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for Science.
• Effective interpersonal skills for building relationships with students, parents and staff.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to extracurricular activities.
