Section Head – Infrastructure & Network (UAE National)

About the role

This senior leadership position is responsible for defining and executing the strategy for enterprise infrastructure, networking, and cloud services across a complex hybrid environment. The role reports to senior management and works closely with business stakeholders to ensure technology services are secure, highly available, and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Infrastructure, Network and Cloud function, providing strategic direction and operational oversight.
• Own architecture, lifecycle management and modernization of on‑premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Drive Azure adoption and hybrid‑cloud initiatives to improve scalability, resilience and efficiency.
• Oversee enterprise networking, connectivity and network‑security technologies, ensuring robust performance and availability.
• Partner with senior stakeholders, technology teams and strategic vendors to deliver innovative, business‑aligned solutions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience leading enterprise infrastructure, network and cloud environments in large organisations.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, enterprise networking, disaster recovery and high‑availability architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco technologies, network security platforms and Microsoft 365 services.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CCIE or ITIL are highly desirable.
