Security Assurance Specialist – AWS Compliance & Security Assurance (UAE)

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Security Assurance Specialist to support its cybersecurity initiatives in the UAE. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to design and communicate solutions for complex compliance challenges, helping regulated customers demonstrate the security of Amazon’s cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers, regulators, and auditors to demonstrate Amazon security controls that meet local requirements.
• Deep‑dive into Amazon’s control environment to develop a technical understanding of security activities and articulate compliance implications.
• Interpret regulated industry compliance requirements and map them to Amazon’s global security controls.
• Act as a trusted advisor, facilitating communication between technical teams and external parties.
• Drive continuous improvement of security processes, share best‑practice frameworks, and support program management across the organization.

Required profile

• UAE National.
• Experienced security, compliance, and audit professional with a strong grasp of IT processes.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to influence multiple teams and drive innovative changes.
