Security Officer & CCTV Operator

About the role

The Security Officer & CCTV Operator will ensure the safety of guests, staff, and assets at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, a 5‑star beachfront resort. You will work closely with all hotel departments to deliver proactive, professional security services.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all hotel areas and buildings to maintain a secure environment.
• Identify and manage trespassers or unauthorized individuals.
• Conduct security and baggage checks as required.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, respond to incidents, and report any safety concerns.
• Observe and report vehicle violations, including parking and dangerous driving.
• Respond to fire‑prevention system activations, investigate causes, and document findings.
• Provide first‑aid and casualty care to guests and staff when needed.
• Record daily shift activities and share relevant information with hotel departments.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, hotel, and departmental policies.
• Participate in hotel committees and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous security or safety experience in a luxury hotel environment (preferred).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (required); Advanced First Aid preferred.
• Fire safety or firefighter training is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Ability to work calmly and courteously under pressure.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work within a multicultural team.
