About the role

The Security Operation Representative will lead contracted security personnel and ensure the safety of patients, visitors, staff, and assets at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City. This full‑time position requires 24/7 operational oversight and rapid response to emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise contracted security staff during assigned shifts.
• Prepare daily activity reports and submit them to the security supervisor/manager.
• Provide 24‑hour on‑call coverage for emergencies, crises, and operational needs.
• Respond promptly to verbal and written inquiries.
• Coordinate with police and assist lawful duties performed on the facility.
• Implement operational plans, policies, and procedures.
• Investigate security breaches and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Manage team development, resolve complaints, and maintain shift patterns for 24/7 coverage.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of relevant security experience, preferably in a large healthcare environment.
• Diploma in a relevant field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Ability to work flexible shift schedules, including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication skills and ability to de‑escalate potential violence.
