Security Supervisor

About the role

The Security Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day security operations at the Radisson Beach Resort Palm Jumeirah, ensuring the safety of guests, staff, visitors and hotel assets. Working closely with the Security Manager, you will implement security policies, coordinate emergency response and maintain compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers during assigned shifts and conduct regular patrols of guest areas, public spaces, back‑of‑house, beach facilities and the hotel perimeter.
• Monitor CCTV, access‑control and fire‑alarm systems, ensuring all equipment is functional and reporting any defects.
• Respond promptly to incidents, guest concerns and emergencies, supporting VIP movements, special events and crowd control.
• Investigate accidents, thefts, disturbances and security breaches, preparing accurate incident reports and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure full compliance with SIRA regulations, Dubai Police and UAE Civil Defense requirements, maintaining licences and supporting inspections.
• Conduct daily briefings, monitor attendance, grooming and performance of the security team, providing on‑the‑job training and coaching.
• Carry out routine inspections of fire and life‑safety equipment and report hazards in line with hotel health‑and‑safety policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum 48 months (4 years) of relevant security experience, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
• Valid SIRA Security Guard licence for all supervising officers.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
