Senior 3D Model Application Engineer – Offshore Water Injection

About the role

The Senior 3D Model Application Engineer will manage and optimise 3D engineering design models for an offshore water injection project. The role covers FEED, detailed engineering, construction and commissioning phases, ensuring model integrity and supporting multidisciplinary coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and manage project 3D modeling platforms, databases and execution plans.
• Coordinate multidiscipline model development across process, mechanical, piping, structural, electrical and instrumentation.
• Conduct interdisciplinary model reviews, clash detection and resolve design conflicts.
• Support brownfield laser‑scan integration, as‑built validation and offshore tie‑in modifications.
• Configure engineering software environments, manage user access and ensure system performance.
• Perform model audits, quality checks and generate compliance reports.
• Develop 3D construction work packages, visualization tools and material take‑offs.
• Provide training, technical support and documentation for design teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Design Engineering, CAD or related field.
• 10–15+ years of engineering design and 3D model administration experience in Oil & Gas.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior 3D modelling or application engineering role.
• Proven experience with offshore EPC projects, brownfield modifications and water injection facilities.
• Experience on ADNOC offshore or Middle‑East projects is highly preferred.
