Senior Accountant – Dubai

About the role

Paramount Zone is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Dubai office. The role involves supervising ledger entries, managing AP/AR cycles, and leading month‑end and year‑end closings using advanced Excel and ERP tools.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily general ledger entries, journal postings and accounting transactions.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, vendor statement matching and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including aging analysis and payment processing.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities, preparing financial statements and audit documentation.
• Build and maintain financial reporting dashboards to track operational metrics and budget variances.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of general ledger and corporate accounting experience.
• Advanced MS Excel capabilities (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, dashboards, complex formulas).
• Proficiency with Tally or a comparable ERP system.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting, AP/AR processing and month‑end closing.
