Senior Accountant – Dubai

About the role

Amit International Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Accountant to join its team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will oversee daily accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support the organization’s financial reporting and compliance functions. This position is well suited for accounting professionals with strong analytical skills, knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, and experience using accounting or ERP software.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow and financial statements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments, banks, auditors and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
