Senior Accountant (Dubai)

About the role

Alcazar Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Dubai office. The role involves hands‑on day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, closing of accounts, and supporting the company’s sustainable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries and record financial transactions in the ERP system.
• Compile balance sheets, profit & loss statements and other financial reports.
• Maintain accounting controls, reconcile discrepancies and ensure tax compliance (VAT, CIT).
• Coordinate external audits and provide auditable documentation.
• Support the line manager with special projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Qualified or part‑qualified CA, CPA, ACCA or similar.
• Minimum 3 years audit experience and 5+ years corporate accounting or project costing experience.
• Experience in a large MNC, preferably in a capital‑intensive or renewable‑energy environment.
• Exposure to multi‑currency structures, SPC/SPV entities and high‑volume invoice processing.
