Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will support the finance function for multiple legal entities within an international private‑aviation business, reporting to the Finance Manager in Dubai. The role ensures accurate, timely accounting in line with group policies and IFRS standards while collaborating with shared service centres and treasury.

Key responsibilities

• Full accounting ownership (GL, FA, Cash, AR, month‑end close)
• Monthly financial closing and reporting to Global HQ
• Manage accounting for multiple legal entities ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Ensure compliance with internal control system and coordinate with Global SSC, Treasury and cross‑functional teams
• Prepare financial statements and handle VAT and corporate income‑tax compliance

Required profile

• ACCA, CPA or ACA qualification (or near completion)
• 4–7 years of experience in a multinational environment with intercompany, FX and shared‑service exposure
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT and corporate income‑tax regulations
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal
• Proactive, organized and eager to learn

• SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (XLOOKUP, INDEX, SUMIFS, pivot tables)
• Microsoft Office suite
