Senior Accountant

About the role

We are a digital creative agency seeking a full‑time Senior Accountant to lead the reporting of costs, productivity, margins and expenditures. The successful candidate will own the financial reporting process and support strategic decisions with accurate data.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial information to management by researching, analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
• Maintain integrity of accounting information through recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions.
• Create and analyse liability, asset and capital accounts using electronic data and documentation.
• Train and mentor junior staff.
• Recommend financial actions by analysing accounting options.
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
• Develop and recommend accounting policies and procedures to maintain controls.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
• Secure financial data by completing database backups.
• Answer accounting procedure questions by interpreting policies and regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and protect operations.
• Manage daily office administration and accounting tasks.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant or Senior Accountant.
• BSc in Accounting or Finance with CPA certification.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Highly detail‑oriented, organized and able to work independently or collaboratively.
• Immediate availability.
• Experience in a production house, digital agency or start‑up is preferred.
