Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the financial operations of our subsidiary companies within ADNOC Logistics & Services. The role ensures accurate reporting, compliance and provides insights that support strategic decisions across the logistics and maritime sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit timely financial statements for each subsidiary and the Group.
• Produce periodic detailed financial reports and analyses for the Financial Reporting Department.
• Oversee trial balances and general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure all financial activities comply with applicable laws, regulations and company policies.
• Provide guidance and support to accounting staff within the subsidiaries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• 6–8 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, marine services or a related industry is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, ACA, FCA, CIMA or CPA.
