Senior Accountant – Manufacturing Finance

About the role

Eaton is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Middle East Controllership team supporting the new E33 Manufacturing Plant in Dubai. The role focuses on manufacturing accounting, inventory, month‑end close and statutory reporting while acting as a key finance partner for operational initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities for the manufacturing plant, including balance‑sheet reconciliations and accrual reviews.
• Oversee inventory accounting, product costing, and fixed‑asset administration, ensuring accurate cost tracking and compliance with corporate policies.
• Support statutory financial reporting, external audit coordination and compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements.
• Provide financial guidance to business leaders, prepare financial analyses and partner on strategic projects such as CAPEX accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal controls, driving continuous improvement and change management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and deliver results in an ambiguous setting.

Required skills

• Strong SAP and/or Oracle ERP knowledge.
• Hands‑on experience with US GAAP, IFRS and statutory financial reporting.
• Proficiency in month‑end close processes, balance‑sheet reconciliations and inventory accounting.
• Experience with product costing, CAPEX accounting and fixed‑asset management.
• Ability to prepare and analyse financial statements and support external audits.
