Senior Accountant – Order to Cash

About the role

Al-Futtaim Group Finance Shared Service Center is looking for a Senior Accountant to lead the Order to Cash (O2C) function. The role focuses on day‑to‑day O2C activities, ensuring strong controls, process improvement and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain control and governance over the entire O2C process.
• Drive enhancements and automation initiatives for O2C.
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly partnering support to business units.
• Perform and review GL reconciliations and customer account reconciliations.
• Resolve risks, exceptions and interface fallouts promptly.
• Review accounts receivable and overdue positions to support collection activities.
• Calculate and review provisions for doubtful debts.
• Post various accounting entries and support month‑end / year‑end closing.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Prepare and circulate O2C exception reports and dashboards.
• Liaise with IT, compliance, controlling and business teams on issues and projects.
• Participate in transition and integration activities.
• Create and maintain customer master data, including KYC documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Order to Cash accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of GL reconciliations, month‑end close and audit support.
• Ability to analyse risks, exceptions and provide timely resolutions.
• Experience in provisioning, customer master data management and KYC processes.
• Proactive attitude towards process standardisation and automation.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
