Senior Aeromechanical Engineer

About the role

The Senior Aeromechanical Engineer will lead aeromechanical activities for integrating weapon systems onto aircraft platforms. The role covers mechanical interfaces, structural loads, vibration, aeroelasticity and dynamic response, ensuring compliance with military standards and airworthiness requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and verify mechanical interfaces between weapons, suspension equipment and aircraft structures.
• Conduct structural loads, vibration, aeroelastic and dynamic response analyses to assess integration impacts.
• Support design, integration and readiness reviews with technical inputs and analysis results.
• Prepare and execute ground and flight test activities, including instrumentation coordination and data review.
• Maintain engineering documentation, calculations and compliance evidence with full traceability.
• Identify, analyze and resolve aeromechanical issues throughout design, test and operational phases.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in aeromechanical integration of aircraft‑weapon systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Working knowledge of safety‑critical development processes and military airworthiness standards.
• Familiarity with aircraft‑weapon integration principles and structural dynamics.
