Senior AI Engineer – Tax & Legal Services (Dubai)

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design and delivery of intelligent automation solutions for its Tax & Legal Services practice in Dubai. You will own the full lifecycle of AI‑driven products, from concept through production, focusing on document processing, compliance checking, and multilingual regulatory retrieval.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable AI systems, including LLM‑based retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Develop end‑to‑end data pipelines for unstructured documents, OCR, metadata extraction, and multilingual processing (Arabic preferred).
• Design and implement backend APIs (FastAPI or similar) with secure authentication (OAuth2/JWT, Azure Entra ID).
• Integrate large language models using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
• Deploy and monitor solutions on Azure, ensuring production‑grade reliability and compliance.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to create lightweight UI prototypes for internal tools.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with a strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently.
• Proven experience delivering production‑grade AI applications, especially LLM and RAG systems.
• Deep understanding of data security, encryption, access control, and audit logging in regulated environments.

Required skills

• Advanced Python programming (FastAPI or similar).
• TypeScript (optional).
• RESTful API development, OAuth2/JWT, Azure Entra ID.
• LLM integration, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks.
• LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel.
• Vector databases: FAISS, Pinecone, Azure AI Search.
• SQL/NoSQL databases, data lakes.
• OCR, metadata extraction, multilingual processing (Arabic a plus).
• React/Next.js for lightweight UI prototyping (good to have).
• Azure cloud services and deployment pipelines.
• Data security, encryption, access control, audit logging.
