Senior Analyst – Alternative Investments

About the role

Our client, a leading investment organisation in Dubai, is looking for a Senior Analyst to join its Alternative Investments team. You will work on a global portfolio covering Private Equity, Infrastructure and Real Estate, combining new deal evaluation with ongoing monitoring of existing assets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed due diligence on new investment opportunities, funds and fund managers.
• Analyse investment strategies, structures, track records, performance and key risks.
• Build financial models and perform investment analysis to support decision‑making.
• Prepare high‑quality investment proposals and recommendations for senior management and Investment Committee review.
• Coordinate with external fund managers and counterparties throughout the due‑diligence process.
• Monitor existing investments, tracking performance, returns, exposures, risk and attribution.
• Track capital calls, investment deployments and disbursements.
• Produce regular portfolio reports for senior management, Investment Committee and Board.
• Conduct market research across global alternative‑investment markets to identify emerging trends.
• Support the broader investment team with strategy, portfolio management and ad‑hoc analysis.

Required profile

• Relevant experience within alternative investments, preferably with exposure to Private Equity, Infrastructure or Real Estate.
• Strong background in fund and fund‑manager analysis and due diligence.
• Excellent financial modelling, investment analysis and analytical abilities.
• Proven capability to evaluate investment performance, risks and portfolio characteristics.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Bilingual in Arabic and English is a strong preference.
