Senior Architect – Interior Fit‑out & Joinery

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect with strong joinery expertise to lead interior fit‑out projects in Dubai. You will work closely with consultants, subcontractors and on‑site teams to ensure flawless execution of design intent.

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings, and produce detailed fit‑out and joinery shop drawings.
• Prepare material submittals, RFIs, method statements and technical documents, and follow up on consultant approvals.
• Provide technical support on‑site, resolve discrepancies, and inspect installations for compliance with approved drawings and samples.
• Coordinate MEP services with interior works and propose practical solutions to site conditions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience on fit‑out projects in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of interior renovation, custom furniture, and joinery construction methods.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit/BIM is an advantage.
• Expertise in preparing and reviewing detailed joinery shop drawings.
• Solid understanding of joinery materials (solid wood, MDF, veneers, laminates) and hardware selection.
• Ability to coordinate MEP services with architectural and interior works.
