Senior Architect

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Architect to lead on‑site architectural supervision for large‑scale projects in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure design intent is faithfully executed while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction sites to verify compliance with architectural drawings and specifications.
• Monitor material quality and workmanship, enforcing design standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and consultants to resolve design and construction issues.
• Ensure all activities meet local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Address on‑site problems, adjust plans as needed, and maintain detailed daily logs and inspection reports.
• Prepare progress reports for clients and stakeholders, highlighting deviations and proposed solutions.
• Maintain clear communication with clients to understand needs and ensure satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience supervising architectural works on large projects in the Middle East.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Membership in a recognized professional institute.
