Senior Associate – Employment Law (6+ PQE)

About the role

Charles Russell Speechlys is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Employment practice in Dubai. You will work with an international client base, providing strategic HR advice, handling litigation, and supporting complex transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercial legal advice on employment documentation, policies, disciplinary matters, grievances, family‑friendly issues and redundancy processes.
• Manage employment litigation, attend preliminary hearings and oversee case‑management steps.
• Conduct due‑diligence on transactions, identify red‑flag issues and draft warranties and indemnities.
• Advise senior executives on exit strategies and severance terms.
• Draft contracts and related documents with minimal supervision, using firm precedents.
• Support client marketing, thought‑leadership initiatives and business‑development activities across the Middle East.
• Contribute to knowledge‑sharing programmes and uphold the firm’s values in all interactions.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience across Middle‑East on‑shore and off‑shore jurisdictions.
• Minimum 6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in employment law.
• Proven ability to manage a substantial and varied workload efficiently.
