Senior Audit Associate – TMT Audits

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Audit Senior Associate specializing in Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) audits to join KPMG Middle East in Dubai for the FY25 hiring session, starting on October 1st, 2024.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and finalising TMT audit assignments for manager/partner review.
• Produce work for review, address TMT consulting issues and propose solutions.
• Manage client deliverables, attend meetings and conduct strategic analysis specific to the TMT industry.
• Identify business and audit risks, and assess the effectiveness of client processes and controls within the TMT sector.
• Perform higher‑risk and non‑routine audit functions in the TMT sector.
• Provide day‑to‑day management of junior team members.
• Ensure effective use of the KPMG Audit Manual, methodology and relevant industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent; ACCA (minimum 9 papers), CPA (2 papers) or ICAEW professional stage completed.
• Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience with recent exposure to TMT audits and a strong understanding of accounting concepts for the sector.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (speaking, reading, writing, listening).
• Proactive and independent with strong research and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communicator with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
