Senior Audit Associate – TMT (Technology, Media & Telecom)

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Senior Audit Associate with a focus on Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) audits. The successful candidate will join the Dubai audit team starting October 1, 2024, with interviews beginning in June 2024.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize TMT audit assignments for manager/partner review.
• Produce work papers, address TMT consulting issues, and propose solutions.
• Manage client deliverables, attend meetings, and conduct strategic analysis specific to the TMT sector.
• Identify business and audit risks, assess client processes and controls, and perform higher‑risk audit functions.
• Provide day‑to‑day supervision of junior team members and ensure adherence to KPMG audit methodology.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent.
• ACCA (minimum 9 papers) or CPA (2 papers) or ICAEW professional stage completed.
• At least 2 years of post‑graduate experience, preferably in TMT audits.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts related to the TMT sector.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
