Senior Auditor

About the role

The Senior Auditor will lead audit assignments within the process and operations areas, evaluating risk management, internal controls, and corporate governance. This role reports to senior management and the audit committee, ensuring audit activities focus on high‑risk areas.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audit assignments in accordance with approved audit work programmes.
• Contribute to the development of the annual internal audit work plan by assessing and prioritising risks.
• Perform detailed fieldwork, document findings, and prepare comprehensive audit reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors and outsourced audit firms as required.
• Conduct follow‑up reviews to monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
• Provide independent assessments of the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, ACCA or Certified Internal Auditor.
• Significant experience in internal audit, risk assessment and corporate governance.
• Full‑time availability and ability to work onsite in Dubai.
