Senior Azure AI Architect

About the role

Capgemini Invent is looking for a Senior Azure AI Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑grade Azure AI solutions. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to translate business challenges into innovative, data‑driven architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical design for Azure AI platforms covering GenAI, agentic AI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Search and AI Factory patterns.
• Create reference architectures, solution blueprints, technical assumptions and proof‑of‑concept plans.
• Guide MVP implementation, including environment setup, secure connectivity, data ingestion, retrieval, agent orchestration, evaluation and monitoring.
• Embed guardrails such as content safety, logging, identity & access control, and human oversight.
• Collaborate with IT, data, security and enterprise architecture teams during technical discovery.

Required profile

• 8‑12+ years in solution, cloud or data/AI architecture or platform engineering.
• 4‑5+ years designing Azure solutions, preferably with production AI implementations.
• Hands‑on experience with GenAI, RAG, LLM applications, MLOps/LLMOps or AI platform engineering.
• Strong knowledge of secure enterprise integration, identity, APIs, private networking, monitoring and cloud governance.
