About the role
Alexander Lyons Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join its team in Dubai. You will work in short iterations and in close collaboration with customers and users, from shaping new ideas and turning them into features to keeping the software running reliably on on-premise infrastructure. The environment is dynamic, relies on modern technologies and extensive automation, and values peer reviews and continuous learning.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build new services that process and store large volumes of data, choosing the most appropriate storage technologies
- Maintain and enhance existing services to ensure high performance, stability and data integrity
- Diagnose and resolve production issues quickly, troubleshooting across code, infrastructure and databases
- Write well-structured, well-tested, maintainable and efficient code following coding standards and best practices
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, customers and end users throughout the product lifecycle
