Senior BIM Engineer – Supervision

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior BIM Engineer to join AECOM’s Construction Supervision team in Abu Dhabi. The role will drive the digital delivery and coordination of major building projects throughout the construction phase, ensuring BIM models are accurate, coordinated and meet client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation and management of BIM processes during construction supervision in line with project standards.
• Review and coordinate federated BIM models across architectural, structural, MEP and specialist disciplines.
• Assess contractor BIM execution plans, model submissions and digital deliverables for compliance.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary coordination meetings, identify and resolve clashes and interface issues before construction.
• Provide coordinated model views, digital construction sequences, quantity information and visualisations to support site teams.
• Monitor model quality, naming conventions, level of development and information requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a BIM Engineer or Coordinator on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards, workflows and construction documentation.
• Ability to work closely with resident engineers, design consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
