Senior Business Analyst

About the role

The Senior Business Analyst will support Shoryuken’s insurance products by analysing market dynamics, pricing strategies and competitor activity. Reporting directly to senior management, you will turn data‑driven insights into actionable recommendations that drive growth and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research, feasibility studies and competitor analysis to inform product and business initiatives.
• Analyse internal and external data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and prepare reports for senior leadership.
• Develop and support pricing proposals aligned with demographic and market behaviour.
• Identify operational, financial and technological risks and propose mitigation actions.
• Assess business processes and system inefficiencies, recommending improvement initiatives.
• Gather requirements, create user stories and support development and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Design and execute test plans, coordinate UAT activities and maintain project documentation.
• Act as liaison between Business, Operations and IT, facilitating workshops and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the insurance sector.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with development and QA teams.
