Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

The Senior Business Development Manager will lead growth initiatives for Economist Impact in the Middle East, leveraging the group’s analytical expertise and digital innovation to expand the client portfolio and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across public and private sectors.
• Build and nurture relationships with senior decision‑makers and key stakeholders.
• Develop and present compelling proposals and pitches that align with Economist Impact’s evidence‑based insights.
• Collaborate with product, research, and marketing teams to tailor solutions for regional markets.
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 8‑10 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in media, consulting or information services.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and managing complex sales cycles.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with senior‑level clients.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence internal teams.
• Fluent in English; based in Dubai or willing to relocate.
