About the role
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our Renewables & Batteries team in Dubai. The role will drive the identification, structuring, and capture of new growth opportunities across solar PV, wind, and battery energy storage projects, supporting the company’s energy transition strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Originate and assess market opportunities in renewable and low‑carbon energy sectors across the GCC.
- Lead end‑to‑end bid and proposal processes, coordinating cross‑functional teams and ensuring high‑quality submissions.
- Conduct market assessments covering regulation, tariffs, PPA structures, grid access, and incentives.
- Screen and develop projects from early‑stage feasibility through investment approval and financial close.
- Manage commercial negotiations with off‑takers, partners, and public entities.
- Support financial modelling, valuation, risk assessment, and the creation of investment‑grade proposals.
- Act as primary client contact and liaise with EPC contractors, sub‑contractors, and vendors.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a senior business developer in renewable or low‑carbon energy markets.
- Strong track record of leading bid teams and securing contracts in the GCC region.
- Ability to coordinate feasibility studies, permitting strategies, and stakeholder mapping.
- Experience in commercial negotiations and structuring of financial models.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, EPCs, and internal technical, legal, and finance teams.
