Senior Civil and Structural Engineer (6‑Month Contract)

About the role

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a senior civil and structural engineer on a six‑month contract to lead the planning, design and construction of energy infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee planning, design and construction of projects from inception to completion.
• Support all civil and structural activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to project planning, budgeting and resource identification.
• Ensure construction progresses according to schedule and budgetary guidelines.
• Develop and revise work plans as project needs evolve.
• Coordinate with contractors for each phase of the project.
• Conduct periodic site inspections and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Maintain complete project documentation and identify potential disputes.
• Adhere to Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE and corporate policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (preferred) and/or postgraduate degree in construction management.
• Minimum 10 years experience managing construction projects.
• Strong planning, organization and logical decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to manage multi‑national teams across multiple sites.
• Willingness to work long hours and in challenging outdoor conditions such as extreme heat, sandstorms, etc.
