Senior Civil/Structural Designer – Onshore (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The Senior Civil/Structural Designer will lead the production of high‑quality civil and structural design deliverables for oil & gas facilities in Abu Dhabi. You will create 2D drawings and 3D models, ensure compliance with international codes and client standards, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed civil and structural drawings and 3D models for steel structures, concrete foundations, and underground services.
• Develop general arrangement, detailed, reinforcement, fabrication drawings and bar‑bending schedules.
• Maintain 3D models using AVEVA E3D, S3D, PDS or equivalent software.
• Ensure all deliverables meet project specifications, international codes (AISC, ACI, BS, Eurocodes) and client standards (ADNOC, ARAMCO).
• Coordinate with civil/structural engineers to reflect design calculations accurately.
• Interface with piping, mechanical, electrical and other disciplines to resolve clashes and maintain design consistency.
• Perform clash detection, support model reviews and incorporate design changes.
• Respond to technical queries (TQs) and site questions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of civil/structural design experience, preferably on oil & gas projects.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality 2D and 3D design documentation.
• Strong understanding of international design codes and client standards.
