Senior Clinical Application Analyst

About the role

M42 Health is seeking a Senior Clinical Application Analyst to lead the implementation, support and optimisation of Cerner electronic health record (EHR) solutions for Danat Al Emarat, a specialised women’s and children’s hospital in Abu Dhabi. The role works closely with clinical and IT teams to ensure Cerner applications align with clinical workflows and improve patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, test and deploy Cerner modules such as CPOE, Mpages, Carenet, EKM/Discern rules, Surginet and Anaesthesia.
• Conduct system testing, validation and performance monitoring.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support to end‑users, resolving complex technical issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date system documentation and configuration records.
• Collaborate with clinicians and IT staff to identify workflow improvements and drive system enhancements.
• Serve as a technical resource for Cerner upgrades and related projects.
• Develop and deliver training sessions and create user guides for clinical staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience with Cerner Millennium (PowerChart, Carenet, CPOE).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
