Senior Coastal Manager – Engineering Projects

About the role

Senior Coastal and Maritime Engineering role leading coastal modelling, shoreline protection, marine infrastructure, port and marina development, breakwater design, and dredging and reclamation projects. The position manages multidisciplinary engineering teams, oversees technical deliverables, and supports business growth through project leadership and client engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage coastal engineering design and modelling activities for marine and coastal infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, review engineering studies and ensure delivery complies with safety and applicable standards.
• Oversee technical deliverables, including breakwater design, shoreline protection, and dredging/reclamation works.
• Support business development through client engagement, proposal preparation and expanding coastal engineering capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s in Coastal/Marine Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in coastal engineering, marine infrastructure, numerical modelling and project management.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management in international consulting environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with coastal modelling software such as MIKE 21, SWAN and CMS‑WAVE.
• Strong knowledge of coastal processes, hydrodynamics and sediment transport.
