Senior Commercial Operations Leader

About the role

The Senior Commercial Operations Leader will support GE Vernova’s sales organization in the PT MEA region, ensuring commercial activities align with business objectives while maintaining strict compliance with internal policies. This senior role requires strategic thinking, strong commercial judgment, and the autonomy to drive commercial arrangements that foster growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive commercial operations and negotiate terms and conditions across the PT MEA region, aligning sales effectiveness with business goals.
• Lead contract negotiations and closures while adhering to risk‑assessment frameworks and internal policies.
• Implement resource allocation strategies, quota planning, and support commercial growth initiatives.
• Conduct deal‑desk reviews in partnership with regional and global functions.
• Ensure deployment and compliance with Delegation of Authority (DOA) policies and commercial risk controls.
• Build and scale commercial capabilities through training, process standardisation, and digital enablement.
• Partner with sales, finance, legal, tax and insurance teams to align best practices and drive deals.
• Influence internal stakeholders to adopt policies, commercial best practices and change initiatives.
• Manage and develop a regional team of commercial professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in contract negotiations, commercial operations, risk mitigation or project management, preferably with people‑management responsibilities.
• Fluent in English and French; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with a Lean mindset.
