Senior Compliance Officer

About the role

Big Ticket is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to support its Compliance Managers in maintaining and developing the regulatory compliance framework for its gaming and prize‑draw operations in the United Arab Emirates. The role will work closely with business units to ensure regulatory requirements are met and that a robust compliance control environment is sustained.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting regulatory gap analyses and tracking remediation actions.
• Perform horizon scanning of UAE and General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) developments and assess impact.
• Provide regulatory advice, obtain approvals, and prepare regulatory reports and management information.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory and governing bodies.
• Support the enhancement of the compliance framework, including controls, processes, documentation and readiness.
• Deliver regulatory compliance training to employees.
• Execute the Compliance Monitoring Programme by testing against regulations, internal policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather evidence for compliance reviews and document findings, recommendations and corrective actions.
• Assist in the development, review and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Experience supporting compliance managers in a regulated environment, preferably within gaming or entertainment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret regulatory changes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Detail‑oriented approach to documentation and record‑keeping.
