Senior Construction Engineer (AOI) – I&C-2

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team for a high‑profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The Senior Construction Engineer (AOI) – I&C‑2 will lead Instrumentation & Control construction, installation, pre‑commissioning and Area Operations Integration activities on offshore projects, initially based in the contractor’s office and later rotating on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise I&C construction activities for both brownfield and greenfield offshore projects.
• Ensure installation work follows approved drawings, procedures, specifications and project schedules.
• Coordinate construction execution within live operating facilities and restricted work environments.
• Monitor contractor performance, productivity and work quality.
• Support planning and execution of shutdown, tie‑in and integration activities.
• Act as the focal point for Area Operations Integration, linking Project, Operations, Commissioning, Engineering and Contractors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in offshore Instrumentation & Control construction and installation.
• Strong knowledge of pre‑commissioning and integration processes for offshore assets.
• Ability to work safely in live operating environments and adhere to quality standards.
• Experience coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams across construction, operations and engineering.
