Senior Construction Engineer - EIT

About the role

This position is for a Senior Construction Engineer specializing in Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom (EIT) to lead on‑site activities for a high‑profile energy client in Abu Dhabi. The engineer will ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all on‑site construction activities related to electrical, instrumentation and telecommunications systems.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and resource allocation to achieve timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Interface with client representatives, subcontractors and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare progress reports and documentation for project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a senior construction engineer on large‑scale oil, gas or energy projects.
• Extensive experience in electrical, instrumentation and telecom disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, budgeting and scheduling.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
