Senior Construction Engineer – Offshore

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Construction Engineer to provide offshore construction support for client projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that all work follows the client’s fabrication and installation specifications and collaborates closely with project engineers throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the client to confirm construction methods are understood and fit for purpose.
• Support Project Engineers in all phases of construction, from design review to completion.
• Review design packages early to eliminate re‑work and optimise construction.
• Chair constructability reviews and act as the primary interface for fabrication and construction queries.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client procurement and construction groups.
• Prepare workpacks, including testing requirements, specialist tools, and vendor identification.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in construction engineering, preferably offshore.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication and installation specifications.
• Familiarity with HSSE plans and ability to comply fully.
• Proven ability to work in a multi‑disciplinary collaborative environment.
