Senior Construction Installation Engineer – Structure (Jackets & WHTs)

About the role

Penspen is urgently seeking a Senior Construction/Installation Engineer to lead offshore structural projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on jackets and wellhead towers (WHTs) from fabrication through offshore installation and completion.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and field execution support for fabrication, load‑out, transportation, lifting, offshore installation, hook‑up and completion of offshore structural facilities.
• Ensure all activities comply with approved engineering documents, project specifications, applicable codes, standards and the project schedule.
• Act as the interface between Engineering, Fabrication, Marine, Heavy‑Lift, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Sub‑contractors, Vendors and Client/Operator representatives.
• Develop, review and validate construction and installation methodologies, ensuring practicality with available offshore equipment and vessels.
• Identify potential construction constraints, conduct constructability reviews and provide technical solutions for field issues.
• Supervise engineering support for jacket fabrication, assembly and erection, and coordinate WHT fabrication and installation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years on offshore projects.
• Proven experience in offshore jacket fabrication, load‑out, transportation and installation.
• Experience with wellhead tower fabrication, installation and structural hook‑up is strongly preferred.
• Background in PMC/EPC environments; prior ADNOC offshore experience is an advantage.
