Senior Contract Engineer

About the role

The Senior Contract Engineer will join NMDC Group’s project team in Abu Dhabi, ensuring commercial resources and processes support successful project delivery. This role combines commercial acumen with technical expertise to drive cash‑flow optimisation and risk management on site.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure commercial resources are adequate for successful project delivery.
• Demonstrate high‑level commercial and technical knowledge as part of the Project Team.
• Maintain and manage project risk registers, identifying risks early and implementing contingencies.
• Implement and fully comply with NMDC Commercial Procedures at site level.
• Maximise cash flow through timely valuations, invoice submission and receipt of payments.
• Foster commercial understanding within project teams, providing motivation and leading by example.
• Manage timely procurement of sub‑contractors.
• Oversee preparation of variations, claims and disputes.
• Promote knowledge sharing and develop a team capable of innovative thinking.
