Senior Cost Control Engineer

About the role

Innovo Group is seeking an experienced Cost Control Engineer to join an innovative construction team in Dubai. You will provide input across all project delivery phases and be responsible for managing cost control for the entire project, ensuring alignment with budget and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage a cost control system to support project‑management decision‑making.
• Create a cost‑awareness culture within the Project Management Team.
• Prepare project budgets for awarded contracts using actual costs, estimation data, and contractual documents.
• Review tender estimations and flag any irregularities.
• Produce monthly cost reports comparing actual performance to the approved budget.
• Liaise with internal teams to capture actual costs allocated to project cost centres.
• Review and align cost reports with internal stakeholders and the project team.
• Monitor daily project costs, metrics, and efficiencies for subcontractors and materials.
• Coordinate risk‑management activities, including brainstorming and quantitative assessments.
• Contribute to monthly management reports and overall project updates.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a Cost Control Engineer on construction projects.
• Experience across all project delivery phases, from inception to completion.
• Leadership and mid‑management experience with a proactive, collaborative style.
• Ability to interpret data, analyse results and apply commercial thinking.
• Strong communication skills and capacity to manage multiple responsibilities.
